twin single bedroom) are on the ground floor.
The main double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom (shower

on the corner of the steading. |

in upstairs bedroom layouts due to the location of
the original window openings. Each has 2 bedrooms
(one double and one twin-single) and a double sofa-bed
in the living room. They face north-south with
large arched screens facing north into the courtyard
and the garden is to the south, accessed via the kitchen.
Neither have a downstairs toilet. |

Similar aspect to Nos.5 and 6 but with only one arched
screen facing into the courtyard to the north.
This cottage has no downstairs toilet. |

(one double and one twin-single) and a double sofa-bed
in the living room. Faces east-west, the living
room facing into the courtyard to the east and the
kitchen faces west. The main bedroom has windows
looking both east and west. This cottage has
an upstairs bathroom (bath and shower) and a downstairs
toilet. |

Shearie-Knowe |
2 bedrooms
(one double and one twin single bunk beds - large
enough for adult to sleep in) and a double sofa-bed
in the living room. Like No.8 this cottage
is also orientated east-west, but due to the dimensions
and shape of the old buildings the internal layout
is quite different with a large open-plan kitchen,
dining, living area. This cottage has an upstairs
bathroom (bath and shower) and a downstairs toilet. |
